QUOTE(ronaldjoe @ Nov 15 2008, 07:49 AM) You would need to set it to digital output. Coaxial cable is different from RCA If not, you can try optical cable. Wonder what sound card are you using becos my xfi xtreme gamer fatality pro control consule can find the dd/dts decoder setting, hopefully you can help becos saw your signature using x64 ultimate. I was wondering my card problem is mainly due to the x64 os . This post has been edited by Dickong: Nov 16 2008, 03:43 PM

QUOTE(justone @ Feb 2 2009, 06:47 PM) imo, i don c any prob. actually...as long as u love the bass...and ur neighbour din complain generally, if u're serious in music, u wont buy z5500 no offense If u say that putting 100% on sub is no problem i think u are in the same boat as the other forunner, n for pc speaker i think its quiet alright n if u really want to compare, pc speaker for serious music u are also out of topic. Serious music lover wont compare with pc speaker becos serious music lover will go hi fi speaker. no offense

Hi, my z5500 woofer is still having that stupid hissing sound since day one i bought it, though it might go of as i use along, but still there, got a feeling the sound come from the build in transformer on the front of the woofer. Any ideal to solve it, should i open the front woofer driver n try to tighten some screw or some nuts. Think of sending it for rma but the time wasted for waiting during rma make me hesistate to send.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Feb 23 2009, 09:53 AM) I have been using mine since 2006, I did not encounter the hissing sound at all. I suggest just returning it to the seller. Btw, what soundcard are you using? Anyway the hissing sound will be there even without music, that mean to say when you plug in n on the speaker system the hissing sound will be there, Refer to my signature for the sound card.
