announcing that this lg phone survives washing machine experience. wifey accidentally put the phone on a top loading washing machine and it went up to rinse cycle before looking for the phone.

Quickly take out the batter, and dry it up using cloth then inside uncooked rice for a week(substitute for drying gel). Later reattach the battery and voila everything works! call, bluetooth, speakers and charging. Some tiny water droplets can be seen at the screen but reducing daily.

So congrats LG!

Really like this phone and thingkin of buying it soon but read from techmeme (twitter) there's some problem with wp7 update process or something?anyone heard of it? but anyhow i use alot of words doc on my phone,will optimus 7 suit the task? how bout typing experience? lg also got wp7 on quantum model but i dont see any of it in malaysia..thanks in advance.

mango is an update and will be available to most WP7 phones, unless mentioned by Windows themselves otherwise.

But i could say Mango will be coming to Optimus 7 for sure, as LG themselves already come out with WP7 Mango for an unknown device code E906 - touted to be next refreshed Optimus 7 (with Mango).
