QUOTE(Kiki-Lala @ Jan 10 2011, 07:11 PM) aiyoyo, I've met alot of gear head around. tell ur fren to buy D3s without lens n hang on his neck when go outBut I came across a funny one who asked for my recommendation. He owned Canon 550D with 18-135 lens. He wanna change his gear. Firstly, I asked why do you want to change? He replied "because it looks lousy from the outside and not enough blur of the background photo". Wah piang. Gave me a total sweat bigger than Hiroshima. So he ended up sold out his Canon gear and jump to Nikon D7000. Pretty useless tho since he buys his gear for display. (rich a$$) most expensive bling ever QUOTE(Kiki-Lala @ Jan 10 2011, 07:30 PM) Besides I need a recommendation. I lost my tripod ballhead plate and I don't really like my current ballhead. Seems not stable. if u wan reli stable 1, get d usual head instead of ballheadDo you guys prefer this type » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « or this type » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Don't mind the brand I'm just looking for something more stable, tight and convenient. (not mafan one lah) so does d twist lock leg, more stable than d quicklock |

not sure wat aperture i was using(that time very noob) when i tried Viking's 5DMkII with 85L
but i did get better AF than my D5000(maybe its D5000 problem) it was then i was poison by 85mm on FF sensor, so hence my hunt for 50mm on cropped sensor begins |

QUOTE(april @ Jan 20 2011, 09:28 PM) i see d3100 dun have auto focus lens...is it a problem? can i change a auto focus lens and how much does it cost? D3100 kit comes with kitlens 18-55 which has autofocus function wat u hear shud be that D3100 dun have its built-in autofocus motor(autofocus needs a motor) it relies on motor in lenses to achieve autofocus so if u use lenses without motor(usually older model lenses), u cant have auto focus as there is no motor both on D3100 n d lens QUOTE(s6xs9x @ Jan 20 2011, 10:03 PM) Guys I just got bumped by opening a new thread wanting to know; for me i would go for 1st choiceI should had asked here instead. Which would be a better choice? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thanks in advance. as i would like to have high speed flash sync & built-in commander |

QUOTE(aldosoesilo @ Jan 21 2011, 11:19 AM) i used to have similar dilemma as u, except mine is between D90 or Sigma 50but y i wanted either these 2? cos i want 50 f/1.4's low light capability n bokeh get D90 then can use 50 1.8 with AF but in d end get Sigma 50 cos its lens that is limiting me, not body so ask urself wat is limiting u actually QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 21 2011, 12:32 PM) hmm...tamron 17-50/2.8 has issues with focusing in low light right? Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 OS how bout the tamron 28-75/2.8? same issues? wanna find something that can also be used to take concert shots. and uhh...24-70 is out of budget |
