Jz whn I thought we r out of choices for affordable bluray players, I spotted dis pana at a promotion in lowyat.so wads ur pick?

I would choose the Samsung simply because it's cheaper and suits what I would need biggrin.gif

Panasonic DMP-BD45 is completely out in my view:

Not support:
- BD Live (only profile 1.1)
- Not support .MKV, DivX and etc.
- USB Slot.

The basic of latest BD tech - BD Live already not support.

This model is somehow too basic.

BD -45 is tooo entry player.DONT GO for it.

This BD45 is tooo cost cutting from pana.

but don confuse with BD 30 and BD 60.Those 2 player is superb during previous time panasonic model.

even price of player is down , the price of blu-ray disc still need to consider. 1 disc cost rm 100, how many movies u want to watch in blu ray format?

I still think in Msia BD is the toy of the rich people. BD movies should cost RM60-70 by now and DVD9 should be 30-40 max. The poor will always go for lanun or internet download.
