Hi i just got an old xbox 360 from my cousin, i thinks its the first gen. it doesn't come with a hdmi port at the back. i know there are hdmi adapters out there like the madcatz one

was just wondering if any1 has seen it arnd lowyatt or knows where to get it. also i'm using a viewsonic vx2433 which has built in speakers, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack in the back, was wondering if i could use a cable from the monitr to output the sound from the hdmi source from the monitor to a set of speakers. basically

xbox---> hdmi -----> monitor -----> 3.5mm cable----> speakers
