If want to play ehem games buy the modded xbox

true but you have to value yourselves whether it is worth it. For modded xbox you will need to take back to shop every 2 months to update the new firmware. some shop will take care of the "warranty" for you but some will charge you RM100-200 for it.

If you only buy like say...one game a month(like me). Factor back the cost and "mafan" you are still paying the same amount of money as playing original.
