Depends on your eyes. Some people can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, while some can't.now i having the 2nd issue whether hd or full hd?

Size of TV? If 37" and below I doubt if it'll make any difference, but since even Full HD ones are pretty cheap these days, might as well get one.
