Ever encountered a problem where your USB device suddenly stop working in the middle of gaming or drafting an architectural design? There's a few variable that this might occur. Problem might be that your USB Port aren't supplying enough power to your devices. To check whether your USB port is supplying enough power to your device, first of all

1. Open Control Panel
2. Go to Device Manager
3. Select Universal Serial Bus Controllers
4. Under it, select USB root hub and click properties
5. Go to Power tab
6. Voila, check the power available and power required.

Sometimes, certain USB devices might overload the USB port. This can be solve by using an USB Hub which has the power by itself. I recommend Roccat Apuri but any USB Hub will do the trick.
