Just bought a Nokia N8 3 days ago, guys, how do you tell if an N8 is the first batch that have mobo problem?

yeah, Angry Birds is addictive plus the the camera is awesome, not to mention the video recording is superb

Had the same problem earlier, but seems its up and running now

what kind of casing is great for N8? TPU, rubberized, leather?

is it true the leather pouch that have magnet is not good for any phone, including N8?

Nice, thinking of buying new casing, mine is cap ayam free gift from the shop, with the magnet

so its possible

they gave a brand new unit? not just replace the mobo?

Lucky guy hopefully my 5 days old N8 will not get any problem like your old N8

Guys, how long does your N8 battery last? mine only last for 1 day, checking emails, facebook, play games, mp3, web browsing...

this is one expensive micro sd

yup, fully utilizing 3.5g connection

wow that is a long battery life, if can tahan for 2 - 2.5 days

since I've been using N8 for the past 5 days, I need to charge it everyday

same thing here, every night need to charge my N8

At the moment my N8 is left 40% of battery juice, I'm using the Power Saving mode now, it straight away change from 3.5g connection to gsm, I guess it will make a difference.

tap the battery icon on the top right when in portrait, it will open a pop up with connection, time and battery icon, tap on the battery icon, you should see activate power saving

it will not use much battery power I guess, if you notice the changes, the background is a bit dim, the connection is no longer 3g but gsm thus making your N8 power to run a bit longer, if your battery is low

Do you guys apply screen protector for your N8? I saw a video on youtube [forgot the title, looks like Malaysian made] that the N8 is "scratch"

resistant, got 1 guy using a folding knife trying to scratch the back part of N8 and the front screen, there isn't a single scratch, I'm not that daring

enough to try it on my on N8, haha

Any specific brand you recommend? because like my previous N97 mini the screen brightness will decrease since it need to go through the screen protector. So I have not apply any yet

free gift when I bought my N8

can give you a suggestion, maybe you can take out the magnet? else switch to a new casing like what I did, now that magnetic casing is just collecting dust in my room, but no loss since it was free
