v3.06 use new maps... so all v3.04 maps will be deleted and new maps data need to be downloaded...

yup... lots of code clean up done... as the original mods seem just simply putting try & error rubbish changes within...

hehe... if u notice the cache mods actually i've added another mod within... checking it now as it seem like it's the Remote Drive cache folder where if original left un-mod it will possible to eat upto 16Mb of your C: drive...

hehe after i deleted out those cache folder my C: now left 150Mb free space loh...

yup... there're 2 cache folder for the N8

1. Browser cache : upto 3Mb (original firmware setting)
2. Remote Drive cache : unto 16Mb (original firmware setting)

and both are in C: originally...

so now u mah jin jia song liao loh...

actually all these mods mostly are for the s60v5... the S^3 are VERY near to same... so if anyone come across good s60v5 mods just can share here so we can try it out...

hehehe... experimenting on another new mods... light sensor disable and the UI cut down to 30fps (default 67) and complexity down from 8 to 5 (default 7)... see how it go...

the 100 quality take lots of space for the photo (upto 12MP per picture) and it will have delay after each shot as huge photo data need to be safe... not really recommended... i use the 95 for now...

woooo.... the light sensor disable mod will totally off the light sensor and causing the screen always at 100% brightness... only when u select the power safe mode the screen will dim after like 3 secs but will 100% again when u touch the screen and dim again after 3 secs idling... good or not ah...

the UI seem a bit more smooth when lower the fps...

really boh... i didnt really feel the shutter lag leh... every snap took 1~2 secs gao dim liao...

firmware update loh...

but the 85 compression ratio are too much... u will really see artifact jpeg degration...

did u full zoom the images u take?? sure u will notice the jpeg effect... big no no for me as sometimes i'll crop my photos...

CANNOT... that's need a patch... because it's embeded within the .dll

when the light is sufficient i think the camera apps will auto disable the red led as the red led are major for focusing assistance...

lower down the haptics feedback... the original seem have a bit non linear toward level 1/2/3 haptics vibration in it's setting...
but as from what i experience now... NOT MUCH different lah... testing it now...
