Anything you can recommend for a 98 Toyota Harrier?

A bit far fetched, I'm aware because the dash display (monochrome) is integrated with the climate control and mileage monitor.

The speakers are really nice so it's a waste, comes with 6 CD changer but these days too busy to burn my on mix of songs. FM radio band maxes at 90MHz so it's useless haha. Any booster/workings around this?

Sorry for the long post, also looking for a head unit for a Nissan Serena (pretty straight forward case). PM me your thoughts and offer. Thanks.

Hi,

For Toyota Harrier 98 (1st Gen) we have no idea to change the Head Unit. All the climate control and also display is all controlled by the Head Unit.
The only way to do is to add another single din Head Unit to get more media solution.
For FM we can add the FM booster to boost up the frequency to get our local channel.

Possible to have the head unit hidden nicely somewhere and have a separate display near the dash, like maybe a stand? sweat.gif

Parking sensors are a bit unintuitive and I'm interested in functions like Bluetooth telephony and reverse camera. biggrin.gif

If it's too complicated then I'll just have the booster lah and save the money for the Nissan.

with a 1 DIN unit in place

Was wondering if you guys can install something like this Clarion

So how much will it cost? Head unit itself should be around 700-ish (checked around here)

Haha sorry if I cause you a headache sweat.gif old passed down car biggrin.gif

That picture shown is the best place to add the head unit. But about the function of reverse camera the only way is to add separate stand type small monitor.
To add head unit supports Usb, Mp3, Bluetooth is around 7++ including the Bluetooth adapter.

I find it a bit inconvenient because the gear knob will obstruct the control and view but 7++ is good haha. Can you go as far as this?

PM me price for FM booster for now. My car will be shipped to the mainland in a few weeks smile.gif

Thanks for the feedback.
