I heard that sniper rifles on consoles aren't all that useless thx to aim-assist.

On PC, all sniper rifles since CoD4 sarks bawls for their own reason:

CoD4
- Stopping Power on automatic weapons > sniper rifles.
- Automatic weapons are way better when it comes to wallbanging. Any snipers caught sniping from inside a building will get his arse handed by a wall of lead through the wall.

MW2
- ACR. Nuff said.

Black Ops
- Quickscoping ain't quick enough to compete against automatics in such small maps.

Well yeah snipers in Black Ops are practically useless to me now, I actually used to snipe way more often on CoD4 but not anymore, maps just don't help at all for me.

And I didn't notice automatics being significantly better at wallbanging, I can't wallbang for shit >_>
But that would explain why I'd rage so much when sniping on Bloc XD

Automatics are better for wallbanging because you can hit the wall many more times than a sniper rifle would, hence increasing the chance for a kill if you are not sure of where your target is.

Hardcore kind of unbalances the game, no point using anything other than a 1 hit kill weapon, really.

Yeah but since health goes down to 30% it doesn't really matter

Been a long time I haven't touched COD:BO..Until today the lag for multiplayer still exist..Wondering if I could create my own server on Steam? as I've just upgraded my internet to Unifi 20Mb..If I could create my own dedicated server that would be great!..
