hmmm haven't come back to this thread for....years lol.here is my tank rescaped during cny.will be replanted in a few more weeks with hairgrass

from what i know carbon is to filter out impurities such as chemicals.if left in the tank in the long run it will leak what it absorbed back into the tank.
