Hi all... bought this phone just before CNY and loving it! But does anyone have problems with the wifi? For example I connect at home and I get 2 bars being some distance away from the router. But it dc and reconnect some secs later. Does anyone face this problem?
A friend said it might be the processor not strong so I restart the phone before doing any downloads or skype-ing.
oh and Froyo is official? Did not see it in KIES.

QUOTE(masterwee @ Mar 3 2011, 02:06 PM) do you guys ever notice you have wifi connection problem especially when you try to re-connect back to the same network. this happen to me with my galaxy 5 at my office. after a few test i realised 2 things, 1 is my office wifi router filter connection by MAC address. 2, there is a bug in the Galaxy 5 that change the MAC address everytime you reboot your phone. Piecing these 2 issue together, i identified the wifi connection issue for my phone. I am posting this to get feedback from you guys to see whether you all face this or not? I have wifi problem with my phone but i don't know what is the cause. I've always thought it was the lack of ram. Added on March 3, 2011, 8:07 pmQUOTE(lopiumy @ Mar 3 2011, 04:06 PM) I got same problem sometime, but I solve it by restart phone. same here!
