hey guys, tnx for the dropbox invite.
as for the stable release, i see it is the i5500 version. does this mean no asian language support? I am using the i5500 from samfirmware now and it does not support thai language, which is highly irritating as i cant sms my clients now. also my mobile network does not work, clicking to switch it on does not do anything, this might also be related to the i5500L south american built. hope you guys got answers, sorry if I ask something that is already explained in here. Added on January 13, 2011, 12:15 pm QUOTE(vitlangtu @ Jan 13 2011, 11:07 AM) I've PM SGPC and he replied that I invited but I don't see any change in DropBox? Should I ask he again? you got to log on online into dropbox to accept the invite.then it will show in your desktop dropbox. This post has been edited by g.oostema: Jan 13 2011, 12:15 PM |

QUOTE(josenigel @ Jan 13 2011, 11:22 AM) If your on the same one that I am, then no, there's no support for Asian language except Korean ok so it is still the i5500 version of Froyo. As for mobile network, not too sure about that I will try to flash, to fix the battery problem though. Anyone has any idea when samsung comes with the i5503 versions? |

Hey guys,
I have been talking to Samsung Thailand. They are not willing to give an exact date yet, however they informed me that Froyo 2.2 will be out soon for the i5503 models of the Galaxy 5 that makes me happy, finally, thai language support and hopefully a working mobile connection. |

QUOTE(josenigel @ Jan 21 2011, 12:12 PM) Its a very tedious thing to do. I had some difficulties doing it but with the help of some of those guys on the IRC channel, I did it. I wouldn't recommend you doing it as if you have any problems you would have to revert it back which is another issue LOL ok then i better not do it, dont wanna mess up my phone, cause of my noobie actions But then again this is just me (a noob) saying Added on January 21, 2011, 1:13 pmAnyone has updated Beautiful Widgets? Please put it into DropBox. The one in there is chinese and it asks to update |

QUOTE(gocke55014 @ Jan 22 2011, 09:23 PM) bro. u should have read all the instructions for motafoca's rom carefully, you need android SDK tools to hard reset the phone, via command lines using ms-dos, not possible through the phone itself, this rom is a bit 'different' you dont need to use sdk tools, just do a factory reset and then a hard reset on the phone and all works fine for me. |

QUOTE(masterwee @ Feb 1 2011, 12:59 PM) Ok, I will give that a try. Thanks!! Anyone has the thailand maps for papago?Added on February 1, 2011, 3:01 pmdoes anyone have the new zealand papago map or ndrive new zealand map? Also papago drains so much battery, anybody has a fix for this? Found it: http://www.papagomap.com/ all maps for all sea countries. Download all files, unrar Dont pay attention to the difference in main folder name or the maganaviser / organic / photo / save folders. Copy the folders in the map folder to the map folder in your papago (NaviSEA) folder. copy the folders in the sound folder (if you would like extra languages like thai) that you dont have yet. in the main navith folder (or other name if other country is selected) the files you dont have yet, do not overwrite already existing files (not sure if this will mess up the app) unplug phone, restart papago and there you go, thai maps only battery drainage is now still an issue This post has been edited by g.oostema: Feb 2 2011, 11:13 AM |
