Salaam and hello everyone. After mulling over the issue for half a year (and getting my scholarship), I finally bought an Android phone. (Yay me!)
I bought a Galaxy 5 on Thursday, for RM590. I've read the first post, but still have a few questions: (and sorry, too lazy to go read back V1, V2 & even this thread =P)
1.Any good Froyo ROM's for G5? 2. Anyone here flashed to Froyo ROM?
I've read about the rumors going around that Samsung won't update to Froyo for its line of Galaxy phones, so if its true, I'll have to get Froyo on my own.
Glad to be part of the Android family.
And had lots of fun playing around with Google Goggles. I spent so much time scanning the pirate DVD's and books in my house and being surprised everytime Google got it right! XD

QUOTE(xizzat @ Jan 16 2011, 06:53 AM) welcome they will update to 2.2 as far as i know. got leaked froyo and also its mod u can get it at first page. mind to share where u download Google Goggles? why i can't find in market. Just realized there was another post for G5 ROM. Silly me! There's a rumor going on in several Android sites claiming that Samsung isn't going to (or is purposely lambat2) update to Froyo because they don't want to devalue new phones that are coming out this year. Hopefully this rumor is not true and will force Samsung to get us Froyo quickly. I downloaded Goggles from our Dropbox server. It's the old version though. But still good XD

Salam.
Lately I've been having problems sending and receiving messages. I'm running 2.1 (Eclair). If anyone else has had the same problem, Is it a problem with G5? Or with Android 2.1? Or was it Celcom's fault?
I really am frustrated. I hope it's not Android/G5.
