Guys, can we silent the shutter sound for camera and camera apps?

Found out that..
when i set birthday/anniversary at a contact, it doesnt appear at the calender there...

is it android's problem or my setting problem???

I am sooo addicted by suggesting you to switch to digi prepaid plan. i go for digi unlimited plan = rm15 per week. you can open 3g anytime without getting worried anymore. open GPS as long as u want. the only reason for me off my data/internet connection is because to save my batery power.

New G5 user here n looking forward to update it with froyo.

Recently, I sent 2 (two) messages to Samsung M'sia OCS asking about the availability of Froyo upgrades.

Their replies below:
1st reply (same question/enquiry)
2nd reply (same question/enquiry)
At first, my initial response was, "WTF?" as they seemed to be ignoring to both my questions/enquiries.

But then, I realized, they might just be saying that the update is already available and the update can be applied at any Samsung's nearest Customer Service Centre!

Not really sure if that's the case or the Customer service personnel were really lazy to answer my (commonly asked) enquiry.

Oh, and can I be added to the dropbox list?

Don't ask samsung customer service la.

I went to Samsung Centre at Mines. They even dunno about the leaked version.

I get better info from City Square Samsung booth. They say, when the official Froyo released. They can help you to upgrade to Froyo. The will send the phone to Samsung Malaysia HQ for few weeks and we will be charged around rm20 - rm30. Your G5 will be upgraded to Froyo and you still have your warranty.

Where is the Samsung Malaysia HQ located? Is it at PJ one, or at Plaza berjaya one?

lol why must samsung charge just to upgrade? somemore have to wait few weeks.

sure they will come out with easier way to do it.

is there a better pc program that can control my g5 while plugged in? the KIES software included is not so good. im looking for something that will handle sms, file transfer etc

haha... i'm not sure about upgrade from Kies. But i think the charge is because we ask for their service.

W0w plan to get this phone , how was the performance ? if i install more than 10app will it be lagging ?

Maybe because they have to send it to KL HQ (courier charges applicable). If you send it to HQ directly, should be free I think (if still under warranty).
