brut google maps will enable navigation in all areas.. cause when you try to enter navigation in original google maps it will say "service not available in your country"

So just wanted to know if the navigation is actually good or not.. huhu,,  sad.gif
*
hmm.gif I can enter navigation in froyo..............it will show the direction by wording, is this you mean?

by the way, i'm not sure whether many of you notice that the speaker seems to be at the back of the phone, so if you were place the phone with the touch screen facing up, the ringtone will be very soft. try facing the the phone the other way (the back facing upwards) and you'll realise what a HUGE difference it makes.
*
smile.gif yeah, i doing such............and the froyo has a bit louder sound than eclair

so does froyo helps in lock gps better? then no need fasterfix. tongue.gif

*
biggrin.gif flash no need to root.................

but since you flash the beta firmware, the warranty already void, no harm to root anymore

*
biggrin.gif If you revert back to original eclair, Samsung technician unable detect it...........of course no void

if you not roll back to original firmware, the warranty void

hmm.gif Some China's forumer claim install apps using 91Assistant (into SD card) can enable all the apps move to SD. Once you installed, the apps might keep in phone memory, but there must be a option to move into SD.

I busy recently in share market, cant test, anyone understand and can test? biggrin.gif

QUOTE(bestsane @ Dec 24 2010, 04:44 PM)
Hi there folks!

I've got a problem. My android clock is lagging. For this whole week, I woke up late and reached office late because my alarm (default android alarm) didn't sound.

I set my alarm at 6.48am. It's supposed to sound at 6.48am, but it doesn't sound at 6.48am. This is because when I wake up (without the aid from my alarm), let's say at 7.15am, when I press the Power/End key (below the Google Search key), it shows the time when I last played around with my phone (probably the night earlier at 11.00pm). Then it quickly synchronizes with the real (current & present) time, and thus sounding the alarm (because the real time has gone beyond 6.48am).

So this means while the phone is idling (when the screen goes blank), the android clock is not ticking, thus skipping the alarm time set by myself at 6.48am.
Anyone that can help me please................................!!
*
old problem, discussed so many time already................

but no fixed solution

Hi, all, I am a newbie here, just bought galaxy 5 yesterday...
I am wondering what is the function of root-ing the hp? lol, really know nothing...
*
Root meaning obtain the adminstration authorized on your phone, you can modify the system files, use certain apps that need root level to run, example........SetCPU, using it to change the processor's frequency by modify system files.

for G5, root or unroot is not much different, i not suggest newbie to root

ok now the connection problem has been solved. now the prob arise in getting the froyo in. after following the instructions (including hard reset) my G5 keeps rebooting in normal 2.1 ( i guess) because the settting menu is still in monotones and the "about phone' still displays 2.1 -update1..

if this keep going on i might just wait for original release..sigh
*
hmm.gif if it still show 2.1, then meaning you failed on flashing.............try again, dont worry
