I have sucefully compiled a cyanogen port for the i5500
Now i have to wait for my device to come back from the repair since i managed to erase the bios by using my recovery
I decided to avoid playing with the recovery and flashing cyanogen directly via ODIN

Battery drain on froyo is due the clock, like i said on previous message
You can fix it using set cpu or do my tuto i wrote a few posts ago
If you guys want i can put the fix inside a modified I5500LUY2
The swap partition we can do with a kernel compilation, i have the kernel sources here just need to spend sometime to get it done

If anyone wants to help, please search around a see if you can find the patches made to the kernel repo that create the samsung kernel
Because samsung patches the kernel with their stuff and then removes whats not needed, if we have the patches, we can get the official kernel, patch it and enable swap and multitouch for example. Put it in the I5500LUY2 and go!

Someone has been playing around with dropbox. There a lots of duplicated file in it. Compare the files in
Galaxy 5 > App
Galaxy 5 > App > Etc
Aren't we been wasting space?

Im using that now. some different between USA leaked. 
- Startup Sound
- New Tone
- Some changes in Network Settings.
- Others.. not fully tested yet

BUT COMPASS STILL SUCK 

People that using motafoca mod. should stick with it. not much surprise on leaked Europe rom.

IIRC SGS can go up to EXT3. We're only on EXT2. BTW, the file system makes up more than half of the score we got. I got 1.2k and my score was higher than a stock Motorola Droid X. 3k on I/O is imba. Wonder what would happen if we apply that on the DHD.
