by the way, i'm not sure whether many of you notice that the speaker seems to be at the back of the phone, so if you were place the phone with the touch screen facing up, the ringtone will be very soft. try facing the the phone the other way (the back facing upwards) and you'll realise what a HUGE difference it makes.

yeah, i doing such............and the froyo has a bit louder sound than eclair

flashed mine to froyo this morning, so far so good. alarm bug seems to have gone. n the most wonderful thing is can install many & i mean many apps since can install to sd card feature.

goin to flash to froyo tmr since goin to hv 3 days holidays..

1.backup
2.flash froyo
3.hard reset
4.set date/time
5.root
6.register android market
7.restore backup
8.enjoy

yup, already did that.
i did a clean reinstall after flash froyo.

only thing is fasterfix no more working. already rooted & busybox installed; tried both by adb shell & also by titanium backup 'problems', but still cannot run.

so does froyo helps in lock gps better? then no need fasterfix.

goin to flash froyo for testing and will flash back to eclair after that..

fasterfix is what apps? something like GPS Booster?

Flash Froyo Yesterday Evening... Still using it.... Seems nicer.. Now have the vibrate on silent.. haha.. nice... the "Signal Strength" in About Phone also now working properly... last time stuck at -108(hard code?)... kuekuekue huhu ... so far everything OK... used it nearly 18 Hr already with GMAIL and GTALK and DataCOnnection on.. registered mostly on 3G network U Mobile...

Still when roaming with celcom... get the Service Info.... the header are on Latin America.. haha although already set the Language to english (US).... maybe the full release will have better Language ... but i hope that The Asia / Malaysia Version will be released on 2011... will go for that..

GPS Booster is a speciall apps, cant extract out from phone...........only can install via android market

leaked foyo so far so good, just the compass problem

thats the problem, only have gps booster lite in the market, can only use 3 times whereas fasterfix is free.

If you ask me whether GPS Booster is effective or not, i cant give you answer too..............

there is no button to enable/disable 3g, rite?
