Just out of curiousity, what is your main claim? Every distro has got to have some sort of claim to fame. Ubuntu is famous for bringing linux to the desktop. BSD-s are supposedly the most secure out of the box.

Also, can simple linux run as a frontend for MythTV?

fuah, nice.

But I'm not familiar with slackware and/or slax. Only debian and its deriatives for me so far. How hard would it be for me to jump into this?

I will download and test on a test pc after new year. Now alot nonsense happening. Many drink to be drank, many songs to be song and many women to....... well... ignore me.

OK, this holidays i'll have time on my hands. Gonna be installing SimpleLinux on my home server. Hope there is documentation for me to load onto my e-book.

I didn't find any documentation on the website (or maybe the porno movie playing was distracting). Can you give me a link?

Also had to download using direct download. Torrent was too slow.

Basic stuff actually. Like I said before, I'm not familiar with slackware. Basically, I'm looking for guides on how to add and download from repo-s and converting non slack packages into compatible formats. I'm wondering if the advice found here is usable.

I've already downloaded the ISO btw. Installation will happen in tomorrow or day after.

Also, website looks great man.
