for me neo can be reliable,..
lotus handling,..
if alwez long driving, FC not so much,,.
last day i travel on neo from kl to ipoh oni take RM20++,
coz at first i filled in RM40 only,..
arrived at ipoh still have half of it,..
1.6 CPS, so couldn't expect more on FC...
for comfort,..
if you have a family,..not recommended,..
if u alwez hitchiking people,..
a bit difficult for access & egress to back seat,.

you better be more specific with what you want.

relaibility - there is a possibility of high maitenance when buying a 2nd hand car.

Fuel consumption - 20 sens / km? 15 sens / km? Note that you are comparing a 1.8 and a 1.6. Layman, 1.6 is much better interms of consumption.

etc... - we don't know what else you are considering when you put this.

By being more specific, we all can answer and help you get a good car.

SGTi = higher power output, higher range in modified n of course cheaper, many option in parts, recaro seat as standard, etc
NEO = agile in cornering, new design, anymore?

Is 4G93P SGTi as revvy as campro engine hmm.gif ..
i once drive my fren SGTi, its drive on pure torque from its 1.8 L engine combine it with light body but its quite hard to rev the engine IMO..i dont know whether this happen on my fren car oni hmm.gif

yeah, thanks for all.
yeah as i am still studying at malacca,,
my house is at terengganu and my kampung is in kl...
so will have to travel quite some place..
so that's the case.
as my father only give me two choice to buy a satria gti or a satria neo..
hence i need to know which have better fuel consumption as some say gti have better fc even though it has a bigger engine..

yeah i am oretty sure that i will just get a second hand car as there is no newer model of satria gti aite,,
and for that neo i am not sure it all depends on my dad..
which is more reliable when it is used to travel up terengganu back to kl then to malacca

Sgti has more power and torque to push a lighter body

while the neo has lesser power and torque to push a heavier body...

+1
Thats what i'm thinking too..
if u opted for normal neo..u got torque dip around -+ 3000 rpm which is cruising rpm at high gear..u got tough time when facing the slope road thus FC shud higher nod.gif
if u opted neo cps on the other hand, the high Final Drive sure not cruising friendly so u oso got higher FC on highways..
with less weight and high torque car u might be gettin lower FC in SGTI IMO nod.gif

this would be nice though....

Civic EF with Y1 gearbox and B18C GSR

light body...low 4.2 Final Drive... power and torque from a 1.8

My opinion... Old ride, wear and tear, user feedback (driving style). I might be wrong though.

Personally, I prefer SGTi.

4G93P stock can go up to 7.5k rpm
Campro hits the rev limiter earlier

Neo's weight is around the SGTi's weight

wow..

it seems that the sgti have a lot of wow factor than the neo.
as i'm considering a car that will have good fc and not forgetting handling..
as most of u know traveling up to terengganu will have to go against karak highway, and not must not foresee the jabor jerangau highway which i think needs a car with a good handling
