At the moment I posted that @ 3am, I already got KIES update showing.

I still have it showing in my KIES now. Eagerly prompting me to update but I have meetings coming up in an hour. I'll do it later.

My SGS was on stock ROM all these while.

same, no update for me also. product code :GT-I9000HKAXME. my fren's GT-I9000HKAXSO already updated using my pc so i think my kies is up to date

I bought mine ScanDisk 16Gb Class 4 at RM88 only.


Kies still got no upgrades for me

Apparently only a handful people have updated from KIES. No idea why some devices doesn't get that notification yet.

for what i know kies look into these when checking your phone for update:

1. PHONE CURRENT FIRMWARE
2. PRODUCT CODE
3. REGISTRY ABOUT THE PHONE

if you ever play around with kies before, uninstall and install new should maybe do it. then your phone need to be in:

firmware: DXJPA
product code: XME

other than that i really dont know why.
try checking your firewall/antivirus, who know they block kies from checking the FUS server

KIES do not wipe your data. Except the twlauncher settings is gone for mine.

twlauncher settings gone??? minor and can reset rite? if so, it's worth the risk.......
also trying to unstall and reinstall kies  to see if this works.....
