guys, to remove certain apps installed within the ROM like Layar, Locations, Googlemaps, can I just delete those apps in /systems/app using andexplorer?

because theres a lot of app thats using up the RAM..

that titanium backup thingy?

but its just a matter of cut and paste at the /system/app/ folder right ?

I had same issue with you before(even most of us here)..
download mode = volume button down +menu button+power button

BTW, I kept flashing Insanity ROM which deletes all mys game saves, sms, logs, etc.. but with titanium backup all those can return back right?
if so then it seems really useful

on Darkys v0.7 still got that battery unplug issue?
was on v0.6 and after unplug at 100%, it drops directly to 97% ..

maybe have to delete the dalvik cache?

sorry, Im still on Insanity v0.99
this ROM has the least amount of apps ever! having less than 150MB of used RAM

my flash history : Docs --> Insanity --> Darky
tried Darky v0.6 but it has alot of apps installed( didnt know can uninstall with SGS Tools ) and the battery unplug issue.. so I turn back to Insanity

learning to push app into /system/app

Im still on JPO, idle 8 hours, drop 1%

tried Darky v7.0, the launcherpro couldnt change the icon/shortcut at the dock(it will revert back to original after using it) and cant save the changes I've made at the 'preference'..

so I have a question :
can I push samsung app from JPU/JPX/JPY ROM into my current custom JPO ROM?

tried using AndExplorer and it says fail.. tried using RootExplorer and it didnt show up in the /system/app/ directory.. also tried installing it like any other apps and it says 'Installation Failed'.

must it be from same base ROM ?

yes, its already 'mount R/W' in the /system/app..

sup guys, FYI 'MyBackup Pro' (root) just went free..

EDIT: just tried Dungeon defender too.. at the menu options some part didnt properly shows up.. the rest is ok. beautiful game indeed.
Zenonia 2 is good too. its just accessing the menu to upgrade stats/skils could take some time(the buttons are too damn small).

hi, is the APN setting for Maxis APN still works at the front page?

mine couldnt access 3G/Edge.. the icon is there, can send package, but none received and the icon 'sekejap ada, sekejap tiada'

anyone can uses Maxis 3G right now thru SGS?
I cant connect to Edge/3G since 4 pm..

I want to detect either my phone got problem or not.. please answer anyone.

EDIT: thanks guys for your concern.. for some reason, now it can browse thru 3G, the icon remains.. really panicked just now, even flashes to previous ROM and it is still the same.. maybe Maxis got problem ?

did you read his first post in the thread? Ctrl+F search for Voodoo

try install SystemPanel app, it will monitor your battery life in Graph style. (set to 'Monitoring' first). also detecting which app/services thats draining your batttery. also acts as your task manager.
very helpful app the SystemPanel is.
