I did modified my JPA framework for animation transition and batt mod. Is JPA and JPY having the almost same framework? I mean UOT kitchen can cook JPY framework.

My steps is a bit different than yours. Instead of flashing, I'm using 7zip, Root Explorer and Mass Storage combo.

Yeap the effect is cool and a lot of customization. Like the lock features so our home screen is tampered proof from those noobs finger (sorry but hate when my widgets moving around when in hand of non-android users)

But I'll stick with LP since it has it own widgets. It will be good if LP has the lock feature or ADW EX has it own widgets for that amount of $$.

aGPS - Assisted GPS

1. Yes, check this setting and aGPS will be activated. Yes, both apps will make use aGPS data. Nope, all GPS apps will make use this if available, whether fast or slow. aGPS will download GPS satellites location to your phone so faster lock up.
2. This is very subjective. I can lock within 30 secs sometime more than that.
3. Sometime Wireless Networks will interfere with GPS. When GPS lost the lock, it will use signal from telco tower signal. That is why you can get GPS from inside a building which theoretically GPS won't work inside building or tunnel.

Another note: with dimension of 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm, 1500mA battery, sdcard slot, sim slot, camera, speaker..... it's very hard to fix a good antenna in there. Luckily our screen is thin, compare with TFT LCD.

Even the standalone GPS sometime "bengong". Out of blue moon, it will show my car on top of road divider on highway, sometime in longkang. If you wanted to test the effectiveness of the GPS, do not set any route, let it do tracking of your location by itself.

Maxis has wider coverage and good speed sadly no more unlimited package offered anymore. Digi unlimited is cheaper than Telco C, Telco M and Telco U

Well stable connection and good speed is two different kind of thing.

Is your product code XME?

Press and hold EFS folder, then select Copy from the menu. Then browse to /sdcard or any destination and press Paste. Alternatively, download SGSTools from the market.

VPN=Virtual Private Network

A secured point to point network connection by creating an isolated encrypted network tunnel between two points inside common network connection (LAN, WAN, 3G etc).

Configurations depend on network policy and devices deployed. Secured but slow.

Useful if you wanted to transfer a "Rahsia Besar" document from your mobile to your company file server (for example) and to prevent the info from leaking by network sniffing or etc.

Change to which ROM?

Yes, I'm in middle of updating DXJPE. Previous Kies only can detect DXJPA for my phone. Screen shot as attached...

From the old Kies it won't show anything. I downloaded it straight from Samsung website.

Always buy from newer stock by observing the manufacturing date and use ur new spare battery straight away and not as spare part / replacement for the current battery when it's kaput.
