This is very subjective to answer. Some users last for days, mine last for hours... It depends on how you want to use it.

I know some just say to use it for some sms or minimal phone calls and little bit of this and that, but I can say that once SGS is on your hand, you will use more than just that.......  blush.gif

No fix for now. Anyway, i realize it drops from 100 to 90 quite fast, after that back to normal.

Guess that the scale for battery display is short from 90 to 100

It still drops very fast for me below 90%, so long as my wifi is on. Now i down to 6%. Want to drain it totally. Charge it up to full n do a battery wipe while connected to power. See if it helps.

For wifi draining Issue, go to menu - settings - wireless and network - Wi-Fi-settings - Press menu again - Advanced - WiFi Sleep policy -> Set turn off when screen off.

last time all the firmware by default is using that option, only 2.2.1 is set to Never

Just flash JPY under PDA without any PIT, CSC, Modem files. That's what I did.

Yes, impressive to finally see Flash playing in a mobile browser but not really speedy. Most times I leave plugin-support as 'on demand' so I can choose which Flash part of a web page is activated.

Unfortunately if u wanna flash the JPY, u have to flash stock JPU 1st (can download from samfirmware), if you just flash JPY, it will vibrate and not able to boot at all. Here is my steps.

1) odin JPU, place all the PDA, MODEM, CSC, PIT 512 accordingly, TICKED REPARTITION, then start
2) odin JPY, place the PDA file with UNCHECKED REPARTITION, then start
3) odin CF-root JPU, place the .tar file at PDA and again UNCHECKED REPARTITION, then start ---- this step is to get 2e plus root

That it. I didnt do the update.zip as at the moment i do not need CWM, if u need the CWM, place the update.zip in ur sdcard, at the recovery(2e), update twice, u will get CWM.

Anyone using Doc JPX with voodoo kernel? I can't watch anime at chruncyroll because the sound is lagging... I don't have this kind of problem last time with speedmod + JPO.

Is it rom or kernel problem?

It's the same process for JPX too, if I remember correctly.
