please help... my pc is running winxp home. i just bought a media player "asus oplay air hdpr3" to connect to tv. setup no problem and i can view all files on wireless network. but when i go online (from pc) for firmware update, it ask to choose os. the only choices are "linux" and "other". if i choose other, there are only user manuals. if choose linux, there are firmware updates. can i use the linux firmware update?

Most media players, are run on some stripped down linux variation. So just update it. If it bricks, send for RMA. tongue.gif

tq. i followed the instructions but now the problem is in the oplay menu. i went to setup>system>system update. the only options there are "cancel" and "system reinstall". i watched a youtube video of the update process and it had "system upgrade" instead of "system reinstall" in that submenu.
