QUOTE(silverjon @ Jan 13 2011, 11:11 PM)
I'm planning to choose BB instead of iphone. But I wish to pick the best BB phone which i can afford from my budget. After doing research, i found out that 9300 is the best suit for me. But still, i have some question which need someone to answer it for me.

1) Bold BB have a LED light in front of the phone which will blink when there are message or phone call, do Curve 9300 have this function too?

2) Heard that curve 8520 cannot upgrade to the new OS 6, can 9300 keep upgrade whenever Blackberry company release new system like Bold 9700 but not limited like 8520?

3) Since that each BB had their own specific pin, if i lost my phone, can it be track down by the telco company? ( i earn those money very hard, i don't hope it just lost that easy)

4) Last, some lame question. I know 9780 and 9700 is always FTW, but beside that two phone, Is Curve 9300 3G the best phone for BB user recently? ( I don't like touch screen so don't recommend torch, thanks )

Thanks everyone. BB forever.
*
Since most are all answered by Dickson.

I like to add another note to 4.
Yes bold is FTW. But that is a higher-end spec phone provided you have the budget.
As for new users who wants to experience the BB environment, purchasing Curve 9300 is a good choice, since it has 2G and 3G as well.

Good luck ^^

just make sure the DM is on the same version. DM Rogers, or DM Vodafone, then only you can get the latest update

Thanks everyone! After two attempts I managed to install the OS6. I like OS6 better then OS5. The interface of OS5 makes the BB looks cheap. Haha.
*
haha definitely better
