BTW, any have idea on how to turn on the missed call LED?

I tried searching everywhere but couldn't find the setting (OS 6).

Even tried Google but it leads nowhere.

Yup, all BB Curve 9300 will come with OS 5 by default.

All you need is the following :
1) BB Desktop Manager - download from BB website
2) OS 6 firmware for Curve 3G - download from BB website. Select either DiGi, Maxis or Celcom. The latest when I last downloaded was 6.0.0.448.
3) micro USB cable - comes with your BB package.
4) A computer/laptop with good internet connection

you are ready to go. Install (1) & then (2). Once installation complete, connect your device to your PC and follow the steps there to update the firmware.

Is there a possibility to update this phone to os7 in the future?
*
Nop. RIM has confirmed that there will be no OS7 for existing devices.

The easiest way is to install BlackBerry Desktop Manager, connect your phone and update from there.
