Get underpowered or same HP cars & enjoy the race. The point of racing games is to enjoy. It's like when you play GT5 pre-Seasonal Events. Slow to level-up & low Cr but enjoyable.

Nowadays noobies level up to level 16-17 & bought expensive Race Cars without even play A-Spec.. 

Agreed. They should really go through A-spec which is the heart of GT5. Each event is well crafted, some even demand 100% concentration which really gives u the adrenaline rush and makes ur hands shake. Then, each car u buy with ur hard-earned Cr and Exp makes it really sweet  Like i said, PD should put more effort into designing the seasonal events coz it feels rushed, since they've got nothing else to do now anyway. I'm sure GT6 is another 6years away
