I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but I think that if a person wants to dupe a car, it is their choice.Perhaps in a competitive environment it would be different, but in a more casual place such as this, I wouldn't be quite so critical when someone attempts to gain something that would otherwise take hours of tiresome work to get.
Normally, I wouldn't advocate cheating by any means, but with the Gran Turismo series' history of grinding, I think you shouldn't be so hard on people who just want to enjoy a game. Especially when their enjoyment comes without affecting that of others.
As a person who got the F2007 in Prologue before the Kiosk glitch, its safe to say that I have been in a similar situation as someone such as you, who earned the FGT and X1 legit, but at the end of the day, anyone who dupes it is either trying to have fun or show off. Neither will affect your enjoyment of the game, so if I am in a position to say so, just let them do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. It may be difficult, trying to avoid looking down on such people, but some of the best drivers are among the laziest, too.
P.S. Just to be clear, I am not encouraging duping, nor am I arguing for the sake of arguing. I may be taking you out of context, and if I am, my apologies. What I am trying to say is that Gran Turismo games do have absurd things in them, and as long as it doesn't affect anyone else, I am fine with people finding ways to cope with the absurdity, and that you should try and be more understanding.
I do not wish to take this any further, and if you do, please do it via PM; no sense in ruining a perfectly good thread.
Peace (and a Happy New Year to all of you)
