just bought ps3 gt5 racing pack...hope to race with u guys soon..
btw, i have a question...when i 1st inserted the gt5 dvd into my ps3, it requires me to update, and after the update, my ps3 hangs on the xmb. why is it so?? hope i can get help..

seasonal event bonus race 1 where u need to use an oldies US muscle car...challenger rt something....make sure u slowly grind it...6th place, next play again get 5th place, then again 4th...until u finally get 1st place...easiest seasonal event i find and loads of credit...at least 500k after u grind it repeatedly

......... it took me well over 2 weeks to get to lvl 17..

the GTR seasonal event reward is HUGE

1million CR. in total and like 200k XP if i'm not mistaken?

i thought the reward will add up?

meaning if u get 1st, u will get the prize of 500k in 1 try

even i tried the rx7 challenge, i got 9th on my 1st try..managed to get 2nd and the total prize was from 2nd add up till 8th place prize on the 2nd time

isit? erm...not sure...but i notice even i get 7th or below, i still get big credits (one time only) like 100k or so for 'participating' the event...not sure if its really works dat way...

Seasonal Events! This one is GTR event at Special Stage R5. For newbie, just ask one of your nice friend to give you a tuned GTR and use it to race in this particular event.

Didn't do anything with suspension.
Did it in 2 tries Aim for 1:28 ~ 1:29 lap times.. 1mil cr., ho!

Just finished that as well.. no tuning at all. Took me 3-4 tries. Aim for 1:35 lap times

erk.. its not dvd.. its a BR disc @ Bluray Disc..

after update hang? hurm.. u update game right? or update ps3 firmware? if ps3 firmware version 3.55 suppose after restart ps3 its ok..
if update game 1.05 then hang mean server busy.. try disconnect internet (wifi or cable)..

if both fail.. that mean your ps3 got problem.. bring back to shop that you purchase it for warranty..
