QUOTE(KeV @ Dec 24 2010, 12:12 PM) old or new kompressor, please check Agree!oil change at 12k, for rm800, i think thats proportional for other SC, its rm300-400 for 5k, think carefully la. and if u can afford 200k cars, maintenance is easy, else just go buy a cheap car and run. like kancil, im sure oil change below rm100 also can |

Hi. Trying to google more bout c180 w204 but not much detail i can find. I'm a bit confused. I'm considering buying C180 W204 2008. It's a used recon car. Registered 2012.
My question is, is this model actually come with classic / elegance / avantgarde version or this is only for c200 version and upwards? I saw 1 car grant stated "sport kompressor" and another is "C180k". There's a 3 spoke steering and a 4 spoke steering wheel. Why i'm asking is coz i'm trying to find Out the difference in each model. Appreciate if anyone could enlighten me. |

Registered 2012. Recon makes things difficult, as overseas you can configure your own car. For example you can configure a Golf Trendline (base spec, truly empty) with radar guided adaptive cruise control, lane assist (self steering), automatic parking, ... Or you could give it the R line exterior kit. In an otherwise empty car. There are multiple seat options, from standard ones over sports seats to a driver seat that has 14 electronic adjustments and massage function. On the base spec car. And the sports and high end seat are I think also available with a big number of fabrics and leather variants. You can also select from a number of steering wheels. Higher specs just have more equipment as standard, but you could almost turn a Trendline (base spec) car into a Comfortline (mid spec) or Highline (highest spec) car. Though as an aside it seems like Trendline uses less sound proofing and less plush materials for dashboard etc.? Can't change that.My question is, is this model actually come with classic / elegance / avantgarde version or this is only for c200 version and upwards? Appreciate if anyone could enlighten me. I imagine it will be the same for the C class, so every car imported may be different. This post has been edited by kadajawi: May 14 2016, 11:55 PM |

Thus making it hard to judge which actually line the car coming from. i'll be extra cautious when inspecting the car. When I was searching I didn't mind if it was Trendline (well, that a little perhaps), Comfortline or Highline. What mattered were the specs and the car itself of course. |

currently using w204 year 2012.
so far not much issues except the steering keep pulling to the left. other things that i claimed warranty : 1) engine mounting (car shaky) 2) left lower arm other things are just wear n tear. after 5 years brake pads i just changed once. cos im unker type driver, my brakepads lasts for 70k km. abs sensor both front left n right. battery just changed recently.1 lightbulb .thats about it. tyres on average 50k km changed. fuel consumption is good. full tank can go 700km in mixed environment. if highway with eco drive always green personally i believe can reach upto 1000km. i have reach 900km drive but sked cannot find petrol station i just refuel with quite some petrol in tank. Now mileage 100k already |

With no oil leaking, my brother's C200 W204 2008 model records a fuel consumption of 15L/100km which is pretty high. Any recommendation for a reliable place to get this checked? Any whatsapp group discussing this car model's issues?

Best C class right now?
Have to be c63s amg, if you're currently not driving a fast car, this is a great buy. To be honest i'm also tempted to trade-in my s400 to a c63s... but i really just can't justify to double my s-class price, when the performance is not really "doubled", my s-class is already "too-fast" for almost 99% of the time for me... cruising 220km/h and din notice i'm at that speed or reaching 120km/h in a super-short distance, and din realise it until need to brek for a turn... What i like about c63s? One thing - exhaust sound. lol ps- gotta love malaysian road, basically autobahn everywhere, + u get to tailgate! lol, if anyone has been driving long enough in germany/netherlands or basically any other first world country, you will understand the pain. And when you return to malaysia, it's like automobile heaven. This post has been edited by Spitzer: Jul 7 2017, 01:39 AM |

QUOTE(narutomax @ Dec 5 2017, 09:59 AM) Abs sensors! Should be kaput around 7Ok mileage ! Quite costly! Front brake pad worn out pretty fast if you are a fast driver! So 5 years old car and lots of parts need to be replaced Liao! Otherwise, not much of an issue for daily usage! Also, the air cond filter get stinky quite easily!btw, I am talking about the Ckd unit, not sure about the recond one as I am not a fans of recond cars! |
