If you want to install an nvidia driver, you need to disable the nouveau driver first in order to avoid conflict between the 2 drivers.Linux/BSD/FOSS General Chat & FAQ, Post whatever questions you have....

Yes, it's the default driver for nvidia cards, it's preinstalled on most distro.

hey guys...
i need some assistance about mrtg. i had setup mrtg successfully to monitor few things in my home network (apparently i have a total of 7-8 devices connected in my network. can be up to 10) it ran well without any issue. ![]() but my problem is, if i restart httpd service, the mrtg cant be display correctly anymore. if i view from web browser, it doesn't display any graph, seems like it's missing all the files associated with the mrtg page. i tried direct going to the specific host (i.e: http://localhost/graph/192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1.html) but it says files not exist although when i checked inside the directory, it's still there QUOTE [badrolsh@razor graph]$ ls -l total 392 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2351 Apr 19 11:10 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1-day.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6747 Apr 19 11:10 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1.html -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 50801 Apr 19 11:10 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1.log -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1628 Apr 19 11:00 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1-month.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 50781 Apr 19 11:05 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1.old -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1771 Apr 19 11:05 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1-week.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1698 Apr 18 22:44 192.168.0.1_192.168.0.1-year.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3235 Apr 18 22:44 index.html -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2283 Apr 19 11:10 localhost_192.168.0.100-day.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6798 Apr 19 11:10 localhost_192.168.0.100.html -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 50805 Apr 19 11:10 localhost_192.168.0.100.log -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1573 Apr 19 10:45 localhost_192.168.0.100-month.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 50785 Apr 19 11:05 localhost_192.168.0.100.old -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1713 Apr 19 11:05 localhost_192.168.0.100-week.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1698 Apr 18 22:42 localhost_192.168.0.100-year.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1708 Apr 19 11:10 localhost_192.168.0.104-day.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6398 Apr 19 11:10 localhost_192.168.0.104.html -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 48506 Apr 19 11:10 localhost_192.168.0.104.log -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1494 Apr 19 10:45 localhost_192.168.0.104-month.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 48504 Apr 19 11:05 localhost_192.168.0.104.old -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1550 Apr 19 11:00 localhost_192.168.0.104-week.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1698 Apr 18 22:42 localhost_192.168.0.104-year.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 538 Apr 18 22:42 mrtg-l.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 414 Apr 18 22:42 mrtg-m.png -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1759 Apr 18 22:42 mrtg-r.png it will stays that way until i have to remove snmpd package as well as mrtg package. i even have to remove the mrtg folder and start from scratch. for the record, before i remove all the packages and files, i tried to restart snmpd service, but still no luck. did i miss some steps? i do have to restart the httpd service because i modified httpd.conf. did i do anything wrongly? |

QUOTE(scorps @ Apr 18 2011, 11:43 PM) Yes, it's the same. I think graphics card is incompatible with the driver. You are most likely using an onboard Intel graphics or ATI graphics card. Disable nouveau, blacklist it and install your graphics card driver. |

Actually, I use emesene for my MSN (very creative but i still have some other problems with pidgin, like when i try to send a file to other user that using ym, it didn't succesfull. Plus, i can't buzz others. It just shows the msg "buzzing (the people's name)" but in fact, didn't buzz him/her. However, I downloaded a plugin and hacked a bit of my Pidgin for it to work with my work's OCS network. Took me a bit of time but I sort of got it to work. |

Hi guise, i have some problem with hdd partitions. Not sure if here is the right place to ask.
I've created 30GB partitions on my new system to install crunchbang but when i tried to install its detect the partition as 47GB and it didn't show my recovery partition and another partition after that. Although i don't think i'll ever use that recovery partition but still i want to keep it for awhile. Any idea why it didn't show up in the installer and why my 30GB become 47GB?
