i agree..camera n pic quality is da best!! ... but im likely to do flash browsing than to take pics/vid on my phone...
also, i was hoping to solve my FC problem before this... thus moving up to froyo...
if pic is ur main concern, then no need to upgrade la... Froyo smoother, faster and has flash browser only

i tried the standard browser, i coulnt open Cartown in FB...
however, it manage to load up to half of the game, then finally got error...
so i guess heavy flash cannot load la...simple ones definitely can....
I havent tried Dolphin.. later got time i try

yea...2.1 also good enuf for daily usage...
but if can convince ur self dat HD video recording is not dat important, i'd suggest u try froyo.. but low quality video stil can la..use illusion...
my rom comes with miui camera, pic not bad at all....good enuf to blog on FB ...

*eversince i got this phone, i never took a video.. so dat shows how important a video cam to me la...

i believe ur referring to app2sd....
for 2.1, u'll need to customise it yourself...
for 2.2, it comes as default, but for now, only custom 2.2 roms from xda are available for x10...
bear in mind, not all apps can support app2sd...

all info in first page....go n hav a look first if u have missed it...

open contact, then click on a button on the top left... it will take u to a screen where u can select what contact to show (FB, Google, Phone Contact etc)

u mean share ur streamyx line between ur pc and phone?
u can try and create an adhoc connection on ur pc and share it ...with usb, im not to sure, never tried it before...
i think its pretty straight forward to setup an adhoc connection using a wizard..

but if im not mistakan, an older flashtool 0.2.3 is much easier to connect and root ur phone...

i think vcf is universal format for contacts...
or u can also check out SE website and follow their suggestion to import contacts...its an online service i think

fulamak.. byk nya steps to reverse tethering...
if the steps too complicated, id sugget u to subscribe a few rm of mobile data to download stuffs from market..
for eg. maxis mobile prepaid rm5 for 500mb of data in 24hrs.. and dats alot u can download

which bring to the simplest solution if u dont hav wifi facilities...
buy a prepaid mobile data.. then u can go online 24X7..
its not that expensive nowadays...
i spend rm36 for a month on 200Mb plan....which is more than enough for a daily google chat, watsapp, FB etc..

Hotlink - rm18 100Mb 2weeks access... i use 3G watchdog to monitor my data usage...

to link to FB contact picture, u need to use SE standard contact apps (Timescape), which can link phone contact to use the pic from FB.. other than that, u'll need to attach the pic manually...

not true for official ROM... but custom one from xda available, but still alpha stage.. a lot of features not functioning well..

have ur fren download the apn settings from his/her telco? check mobile netwok settins under APN... is it empty? most of the time, telco requires gprs activation....
also check account n sync setting.. make sure background data is checked

try google for the apk files.. i got it somewhere last time, forgot where...

with miui camera, not so bad...
i must say, its 80-90% as good as SE original camera n pic quality

most of this rojak rom are based on beta4...
so the bugs should be mostly the same...
no 720p video, only low q ones... use vignette for camera and illusion for camcoder...
other than that, i must say, its perfect....
oh yes... based on the change log, i think there's no tethering... if u need this, then this rom wont suits u...

how many background apps running? try keeping it low...
do the quadrant after u have all cache etc fully loaded....
might take more than 10minutes after reboot...

fo miui, there's an option for file size.. just play around with the settings.. im sure u'll figure it out..

hav u tried MIUI music player.. i like it very the much..hehe..
not sure if other player has this function, but MiUi can automatically download and display songs lyric, with queue.. its like KARAOKE!!

green color all the time while charging? aik? if my memory serves me right, the color changes as the battery increases during chargin when i was on beta4 (im back to stock 2.1 now for warranty claim tomorrow.. its definitely hardware issues, cpu all farked up, cant even handle MIUI music playing now)
