It depends pretty much on how far U wanna run. Anything beyond 1 hr & U shud hv sumthing to eat beforehand. For training runs & races shorter than 12K normally I'll just take a gel right be4 the run. For longer races I'll hv light bfast at least an hour before. For short runs I'll just drink sum juice or water be4. I used 2 take milk, but tht upsets my stomach.
For those having upset stomach or feeling full while running in the morning (or even in the aft.) it's proly becoz U dun give Urself enuff time to eat be4 running. Solid food can sit in the stomach for 4 hrs.
