hey all, would like to do some general survey. Could any of the students in Ipoh Sunway college taking ACCA give some feedback on the lecturers there?? For subjects such as P2, P4 and P5???

FYI, Ipoh Sunway College is neither Platinum nor Gold ACCA Tuition provider. So would like to check the quality of their lecture.

On a side note, is Ipoh Sunway College related to Sunway university college?? Do they have the same management? Same lecturers??

may I know under what basis did you make this comment that Ipoh Sunway College have no good lecturers? have you attended any course there before? I don't believe in generalising the whole college that there is no good lecturers.

It looks like ipoh Sunway College is a branch of Sunway University College. But not sure if they share the same management/lecturers.

The Foundation Chancellor of Sunway University College and Chairman of the Sunway Group, YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Jeffrey Cheah, AO placed the Sunway Education Group into a Trust in 1997 under the eminent chairmanship of the late YABhg Tun Omar Ong Yoke Lin. The auspicious occasion was witnessed by YB Dato' Seri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, the then Minister of Education.

In March 2010, the Sunway Education Trust was replaced by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation. With the aim of extending its world-class academic excellence and outside the Klang Valley, Sunway University College has set up its branch campus Sunway College Ipoh in 2003 located in a progressive 1346 acres integrated resort township in Tambun, Ipoh City.

I used to study there and I can honestly tell you that the lecturers there are not as good as the lecturers in Sun U. Most of them are just part-time lecturers and the timetable is always changing. If you really want good lecturers then it is better to go to Sun U

May I know which paper did you take in Sunway Ipoh? Do you have any experience with P2 there??

Sunway College have as much relationship with Sunway University as Taylor's College has relationships with Taylor's University.

you should consider the lecturer who will be teaching you, not the name of the college. Last time it was taught by Mr. Gobu but now he is teaching at Institut Kompas instead of Sunway Ipoh

nowadays, optional paper only P4 and P5 are offered in ipoh.

Ipoh sunway has gone thru a lot and today, the ACCA course is making progress based on the advertisement on the students achievement. However, getting lecturers on a full time basis is difficult due to insufficient students and they have to rely on part-time lecturers. And most of these part-time lecturers either run their own businesses or engaged in some other full time employment and there will be hitches now and then as to the lectures depending on the availability of these lecturers.

For any new college, these is to be expected and nothing to be ashamed of.

For A levels, Sunway Ipoh has still a long way to go. I understand that at the recent June intake, there are only 2 students. Ipoh International School is doing much better as it caters for primary as well as secondary students.

I also understand that Sunway Ipoh is also working on a collaboration with Deloitte Ipoh.

Was told that Miss Lisa will be teaching at Ipoh Sunway P2. Anyone has any feedback on her lectures?
