Hi bros, i was wondering..i have 2 units of tiny puny Helix Cap 33 connected to HU..i have not driven my car for almost 4 days, today i checked my battery voltage at terminals was 12.3V (engine off)..i remembered b4 on Monday was around 12.6V (engine off)..
is it true that the 2 Helix Cap 33 drained my battery, or is it my car alarm (currently using Steelmate 898G)? how bout u guys who have installed much bigger farad capacitor, experienced faster battery drain??

I have 2 biji 1F and 8biji headcaps. Have left my car unstarted for 2 weeks with no problems. Cheap Yoko battery. I think you're being a bit too Volt sensitive.

Unless u said the reading was like 10v but when i turn my key to ACC-ON (engine not running), i went to check the voltage it became from 12.3V drop to 11.7V, i dunno if this is normal...however no problem start the engine lah, 1 fast crank can dy..

Getting Started

|
when connect back, use a resistor to slowly charge up then only connect back ur +ve batt terminals. this will prevent arcing!

Added on October 31, 2011, 2:20 pmu need a multimeter with capacitance reading to know whether a cap is good or bad. :> This post has been edited by howiechoo: Oct 31 2011, 02:20 PM
