Would like to ask u guys for some opinion. Which route would u prefer if you were to travel to Cameron Highland from KL ? Tapah Old route or via Simpang Pulai-CH highway ?

Oh ic. Personally, i've driven on both routes and I can conclude that the Tapah road would seriously test ur balls, patience and concentration. The blind corners are a real shit and the lorries were taking it as if they were in some sort of Touge proving ground . As for the simpang pulai road, it's wider and not much blind corners as compared to the old road. However, travelling downhill through this road do require some leg & arm exercise though (shifting gears & tapping brakes in required corners). Its kinda funny to see how those drivers faced braking issue.

The most interesting part would be the blindspots. Imagine if you are almost reaching the corner and suddenly a heavy vehicle from the opposite direction turns up on the corner first.....dayum the feel is awesome

At times, you could hear the tyre's screeching sound too and not to forget the excessive body roll.....Awesome !!
Driving up the Tapah road without a torquey machine + full load is an unhappy experience to me.
