Wish I can independent as you guys. Sometimes I do envy u all that can decide whatever choice for yourself. Not to say my life is good. Everything was decided. But definitely not marriage. I prefer freedom.

Maybe u need to gradually convince & prove to ur parents that u're capable to make decision for ur own life ... Else u would be no different than a puppet, rite ? ;P

Try to talk to ur parents/ family members that ur're a young adult oledi, and need to learn to take on challenges in life.. Because 1 day when they're not around near u, and when u need to solve problems, u would end up no way out .. because u've never been try it for urself ...

But good thing is, at least u can be sure that u've the full decision rights of ur own. Keep defending this right for urself.

Puppet, yes. I've thought about that. Sigh, to convince and prove them would be my graduation day. I have yet to 'give' them what they want. Thus I'm here studying all year long with all my time and sweat wasted for them. 6 years of my life. Few times thought of running away from home. But that's coward.

Sigh, just be a filial child as they want me to be. But definitely not 100% obedient.
