Normally when you move and if the existing service provider didn't cover the new place, you can write in to get the full refund. It is not a fault of yours whatsoever. However they may ask proof of moving.

Summer suites came out with a 'wash hand' letter ...

No residential purpose... can anyone actually come after the owner of they actually decide to use it as residential...

you mean to say the developer did issue an official letter to all owners to say that its not for residential
use?

The enforcement of this ruling will not be easy but if official complaints are filed, it really can get very messy
for the owners and tenants.

So far...almost all rented out as residential use. The office maybe the agent. Accorfing to agents there. Well, i guess...everyone know the risk...in fact marriot tower also office suites....if u go melbourne for eg...many office blocks in cbd also use as service apartment...rented there the other days. Sign of big city maybe hahaha. This sofo n sovo argument will never end la....

The link indicate that it is legally to stay in the commercial title unit. The problem with commercial unit to homebuyers is they do not have Housing Development Act to protect them. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.
