That's the problem, you only follow Spanish teams in UCL, while you may have watched the likes of Bilbao, Sevilla and Atletico in footytube, and nearly none of Osasuna, Malaga and Getafe. If I only watch EPL teams in UCL, and never for others, I may say that EPL is for softies as well. Which current EPL teams competing in UCL are known for tough tackling style?
The likes of Stoke and Fulham may have tough tacklers, but to be honest, Malaga can easily match that, in addition their horrible pitch condition, and the likes of Osasuna and Bilbao have much better discipline and defensive awareness.
Now you get your response

Honestly, between the two leagues, which one has more casualties?
I could name a few for PL. Ramsey comes to mind.
Besides, I have no doubt that Barca could pawn any BPL teams in UCL. That might not be the same case for the rest of non UCL - BPL teams. Based on that two legged matches, Barca found it hard to score against United which no doubt was parking the bus.
In BPL, lots of team do that these days plus that physical advantage they have. Big teams normally would want to play their ball as they wish. Sometimes, it doesn't work that way. You could see us, Arsenal and Chelsea struggling to win lower side teams. Why? The reasons that I gave earlier.
Hope this discussion won't cause Barca fans to be offended or what. It's just a mere clash of opinions.
