Ando can't play just now as we have no wings to drag them away. It is too pack. We sorely miss park n nani. sad.gif

This. We virtually had no one hugging on the sidelines. Normally, our wingers will open up spaces for both Ando and Carrick to operate in the middle. It was cramped just now. They can't do anything lah.

Oh well, we're lucky in some way. 3 points for the new year. That is good. Put some space between us and the others. They are having the pressure now.

Everything needs luck in life. Yes, we won by luck. Champions luck, maybe?

QUOTE(Envoy @ Jan 1 2011, 10:55 PM)
wat do u guys think of obertan today?
he was super fast and he just need to work on his cross
*
Too nervous? He is superfast. No doubt. Nani Mark-II.

QUOTE(silvertoes @ Jan 1 2011, 10:56 PM)
bad performance. 3points in. good win..

just hate the commentator, keep saying a soft goal by Chicharito. it was not. his awareness and positioning earned him that goal..

if its other team they will say its mark of a goalscorer bla bla bla, when comes to United, its a soft goal? whaaaa??

where Wes Brown? injured ke?
*
Commentator keep on b****ing on the first penalty that WBA should have. And he claimed that Rooney wasn't fouled. LOL. Talk about bias.

good place to start.if they are really interested in him and can assure of games and not be scared to play with 2 forwards this could work.

but, aha here comes the catch.we need to wait on rooney dulu, yeah the gaffer said he will be ok but then again we wont know for sure until the doc takes a look at him today, then comes owen.i hope he stays now tho.

against stoke come this tuesday, would be great if can change the side.start with owen+chica as berbs does look tired yesterday, same goes for ando.

Also there seems to be little understanding between Evra and Obertan on the left side. Evra was not effective at all going forward partly because of this. Penalty and a red card!
Although I have no doubt that will score and win the match, the performance was seriously worrying and annoying! We still need to go to SB, Emirates and Anfield.  ohmy.gif

Well, last night was LUCKY and hard fought match. That said, our first choice wingers weren't available thus making the midfield swamped with CMs. Like I've mentioned last night, our wingers rarely hugs the sidelines as the first choices do. Fletch drifted inwards and Obertan started very well but then faded away.

Ando and Carrick unable to do much due to that factor. We normally depended on our wingers to open up spaces for them to operate. West Brom played very well by cramping the centre of the pitch and fought for possession. On these times, I miss Hargreaves. He would bring that extra dimension to the play. He can be deployed as RM or fight for possession in centre of the field.

Penalty and red card for GNev, no doubt. Somehow, Foy screwed up in officiating the match. Oh well, don't give a damn about those ABUs whining about decisions going our way. They have had the same amount of decisions as well. Football, bloody hell.

On Wednesday, it will be an another hard fought battle if Nani and Giggsy not playing. Either one of them. We need at least one of them to play well. We can put Obertan on the other side. I think, that will work. If we win this match against Stoke and Citeh drew Arse(which is, most likely), that is very good for me.

see how important to have a good winger in our 1st eleven...kenot brain let say we got no proper winger for few games  rclxub.gif

Huhu. A hard one. Same goes for Spurs, they have excellent wingers in Bale and Lennon. Usually open up spaces for Modric to operate.

I forgot to add, Chicharito has 8 goals to his name now. A great signing for us. Winning games for us like nobody's business.

Before this was no match for two weeks but all of sudden, the match coming thick and fast and we barely have enough players to cover all the fixtures. Shortage of wingers really killing us off, with Stoke on the next game, its getting more physical and seriously, 2 fits wingers will really do us good. Is Nani fit for Stoke? Obertan deserves another chance, he will do good if given more time on the field. I shall give him the trust like how I gave Nani laugh.gif

Trust or thrust? If the latter, you gay, you ok. laugh.gif

I have no problems in Fletcher being pushed aside but he is drifting inwards at times and left his position which would cause problems to our fullbacks. Take a good look at GNev yesterday, can't do anything. Exposed too many times and out of position which needed Rio to cover him.

Obertan isn't experienced yet, so I could discount him. Evra, although wasn't his best last night, managed to pull through for both him and Obertan. But when Fletcher is high up the pitch, GNev is exposed to pacy players in Thomas and Odemwingie. The other situation was, GNev ran up the pitch to support but the ball was dispossessed in the centre whereby Fletcher is, our right side exposed. Again, it was Rio to the rescue. I don't know if anyone noticed or not, Rio was angry and unsettled thru out the match. With his record of back injury, it's not wise to burden him with extra responsible. If we want him to play for many years to come.

IMO, GNev should've hang his boots. Start to support the lads on the sidelines.

after the birmingham game, all about wigan is forgotten  laugh.gif
at this rate,i really feel its down to our 2nd meeting at Emirates stadium if Arsenal ever stand a chance to win the title.
when is it anyway?
mana ada rip, 2-2 dei!
some more a super come back, almost won it if i am not mistaken
doh.gif  that game, all set and ready for celebrating MU drop 3 pts

last night also i dunno how on earth MU manage to won it.
my friend(MU fan) sms me: we having a really bad game, our worst game of the season
minutes later hernandez score
i replied: MU score d, out of no where! Worst game not, for Hernandez to get a free header its never MU worst game
*
We were lucky. Seriously, like your friend mentioned, that was our worst display of the season. We were lucky that Neville wasn't sent off and no penalty given against us. Then, Odemwingie, somehow screwed up his penalty. Like Rooney the other day. LOL.

On Hernandez, he is definitely a steal for us. A striker with the most luck. I don't know how he managed to win us games this season. One thing is for sure, we are damn glad he's playing for us.
