owen new contract???he is already on pay as you play one, so i doubt he will get any thing new.its either he continues to stay with us or not.

and as for danny, i doubt the gaffer will let him go.learning from past mistakes is why the gaffer sent the likes of danny, cleverly to english clubs with a sure confirmation they will get playing time and while at it not just any team.if they go to any side in the championship they will be a starter but they will lack that top flight experience.

with us just having so far bought only 1 striker, i see a future for danny and kiko if both are willing to stay and fight it out.

p.s:semua angan2 nak nombur 4d, keep on angan2 la sheep nak bg wakakaka. thumbup.gif

sheep's jinx is reverse psychology...so if he give numbers, those number wont kena la laugh.gif unless he gives ALL number except 1, then that 1 number will win hmm.gif

There are all kinds of fans. The good ones and the bad ones. All clubs have those sort of guys, equally I bet give or take a few here and there. But no, ManUtd is evil. Most of our own fans know nothing about our club. We the clueless fans who post here just to make fun of them and don't post anything of note about our beloved club. We don't know who Fletcher is. He's not popular. We don't know the likes of Macheda, Welbeck, Fabio, Gibson, blabla because they are kids. We only know of Rooney, Ronaldo(he's still with us?), Tevez, Giggs, Scholes, Rio, VDS and Diouf.. apart from those, the others are just 'meh'.

I think due to the massive number of United fans, even the small group of bad fans, for others seems like a huge number. Thats why they think all united fans are like that. For example if u go mamak, sure will be a huge group of United fans as compared to other fans, and as the majority they dont feel as shy to create a scene/noise/brag etc. So when the small group of other fans see it, they will feel that most United fans are like that. Obviously it is wrong for them to make their own assumption, but it's not 100% their bad too.

But like u said, every team have good and bad fans. When reading posts, i always see who is the poster and can see that same few will post mature or non-provocative posts, and there's another same few that is just out to degrade other teams, mainly United. My take is, if that person are open to healthy discussions and doesnt chase others away when we post in their thread, i will treat them with respect too, mutual respect. But if those few that is memang ABU, then i give back the same to them la. If you cant respect me/us, then why should i respect you? tongue.gif

While on this topic, i am starting to like those Chelsea fans around here. I know MUST members and Chelsea members can post in one another's thread without much of a problem icon_rolleyes.gif

dah la, Liverpool new manager oso wanna ridicule them sweat.gif their internal problem, let them settle it. Doing this, we aren't helping ourselves when other fans call us arrogant or whats not. we just count our luck and blessings coz we have a stable management team and understanding owners (so far). let the bragging rights be decided on pitch and not history/problem load etc.

remember, karma's a beach..i cant imagine if the manager succeeding SAF is crap and we are on the receiving end doh.gif

i would have a hard time contemplating whether to support that manager no matter how bad he is, or to hope him getting booted sweat.gif dont forget SAF has his worst run, 3-4 years after he took charge! Unlike Chelsea and Liverpool which is around 1-2 seasons after..i would have expect those who asked to boot SAF out during the 1989 period, eating their own sheet right now tongue.gif

but i certainly would not agree hoping my team to lose just so the manager will be booted out.

yeap. nothing good will come out when u gloat about something uncertain. Those Liverpool fans with the 18 title banner gloat about their success, coz they think United would never get 11 titles in the duration of the rest of their lives. But we did it in 18 seasons only. So who's to say Liverpool wont be able to win their 19th times? Dalglish is a Liverpool legend so if his managerial skill is up to par, his passion will drive him on to bring Liverpool to success, unlike Benitez or Roy who cares more about their CVs.

if wanna brag, lets hope we win the match tumoro fair and square, no controversy so they wont have any excuse if the result favours us.

lemme give u guys a history lesson. the Stevenage v Newcastle match is highly anticipated due to a similar FA cup clash back in 1997-1998. Then manager KENNY DALGLISH complained that the stevanage pitch is unplayable but the match carried on anyway. Stevenage managed to drew Newcastle 1-1 to force a replay at St. James Park. The replay match was won narrowly by just 2-1. Even that match also have controversy because Shearer's first goal was deemed to not cross the line (video technology now shows indeed it doesnt cross).

So this time round, seems like Stevenage managed to get their revenge.

Minimal contact i guess. If u play by the book = hit the leg without touching the ball" then yes it is a foul.

Whoa Gerrard red. Double footed tackle, Webb is really playing by the book letter by letter coz it does look harsh.

No need to go other thread and explain guys, with the tension and frust they are feeling, they won't even care what you say. If indeed both legs go off ground, then doesn't matter 50-50 or not it's a red card.

This is exactly why i was praying for a clean and fair game a few hours earlier. Even if we win this game, there will be lots on debate of the results.

A win but no bragging rights. As a football fan I hate to win this way.

This. oh well, football is football. Howard Webb further cements his reputation as a United supporter doh.gif

Anyway, Southampton next in the cup. an opportunity for youngsters?
