QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Jan 1 2011, 03:02 PM) thanks. i also went the wrong way. i thought one-u got but apparently no.=/ picked the wrong spot for the first few shots also. anyway, sometimes if the background is too plain, it makes the fireworks look boring as well. ______________ At about 5pm Malaysian time, our tour guide picked us up in a van and we then visited the Klonghae Floating Market. I was expecting that the 'market' were afloat on water and we had to use a sampan or some boat to visit the market but in actual fact, the 'stalls(boats)' were just parked at the shore. Before we reached the 'floating' market, we had to pass through another night market as well. Many varieties of food and other stuff can be found here. ![]() DSC09554 by zstan, on Flickr Look at the crowd! It's only 5pm local time~ ![]() Women cooking. by zstan, on Flickr A local woman cooking something. Didn't get to try this stall's food though. =/ ![]() Pineapple! by zstan, on Flickr Pineapples!! As a non-pineapple lover, these fruit were hard to resist as they are VERY VERY SWEET compared to the ones sold at Malaysia. A must try at Hat Yai, Thailand. ![]() Insects delicacies by zstan, on Flickr Fried Insects! No i didn't have the courage to try. >< After a 5 minute walk, we arrived at our destination. ![]() Klonghae Floating Market by zstan, on Flickr Floating market ![]() Klonghae Floating Market by zstan, on Flickr This post has been edited by zstan: Jan 1 2011, 03:06 PM |

how to make the pic exposure even on that sunny day eh?
if metering front subject, sky blow out.. if metering at back, front underexposed... like normal pic only.. |

QUOTE(porkchop @ Jan 1 2011, 05:57 PM) ejump and mastering, both very nice shots!! i think it's normal since your hotshoe is exposed to air and moisture causing really mild oxidation which will affect the metal contactsanyway first purchase for 2011....home minister gonna kill me Logitech Bluetooth mouse (cincai snipe cos testing lens) ![]() F58 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(e-jump @ Jan 1 2011, 07:49 PM) Thanks mastering and porkchop. Cepat ko yeIts part of my 2011 resolution where i start to learn metering the sky into my photos (reducing overblown sky effect). ![]() Anyways I noticed my camera has a weird problem today under the hot swealtering sun. I can't seem to focus properly using my 50mm Single shot AF, F2.2, which during comic fiesta works. As you can see it's not focusing on the eyes, which where I am focusing. Using my 55-200, albeit at F4. no such focusing problem. And I had the same problem with e-jump's CZ85mm at F2.8 as well! Funny thing is, when I came home and I try again under normal, room light condition, it's focuses ok again. Any advice in this? since I really think it's the body can't handle anything too bright. I am using local for focus point btw This post has been edited by linkinstreet: Jan 1 2011, 08:57 PM |
