My a55 got LOTS OF NOISE for the Electronic viewfinder...but it won't affect picture....any clarify?

kevinwcw: I initially had some doubts about its crowd-shooting capabilities at F2.0 on the A900. However after I dialled in a little Micro AF Adjust (around -3) it worked fine.

The A55 does not have any AF adjustments but it is perfect and nails focus each time.

Codyx: Your EVF attempts to reach 30 FPS which means it needs at least a 1/60s shutter speed at say ISO1600. However the actual shot may be 1/8s at ISO1600, but the video stream won't do 1/8s or else it will look choppy.

Macro lens get better magnification and allow you go closer. Here's mine on Raynox DCR250 attached to Minolta 50mm f/1.7 (with 50% crop in post processing).

fansoption: I always use f/13 for macro shots. Here's one more for you.

fansoption: Smart! Yes, it's the Minolta 50mm f/1.7 with DCR-250. Can't get close enough so I had to do a 20-30% crop. It's awesome to have high 16 megapixel machine, I can crop more without loosing much details

If not mistaken, this was shot with the settings of f/13, 1/160s, ISO200, Flash power 1/8.
