You can't really clear the recent contacts but you can overwrite it. Go to anyone in your contacts, slide to what's new and it will appear in your recent biggrin.gif

Enjoy

+1 to marauderz. It's not Microsoft's fault for not supporting Flash. It's Adobe's.

Now I know why htc mozart is cheap right now .. and all I want to say is I regret buying this phone 2 weeks ago ..

my touchscreen is damn insensitive .. hard to accept call ..
and my maxis bill is RM300 in less than 2 weeks .. which I only using wifi even I already disable the cellular data and 3g .. probably the "phantom data usage" is not being fixed by microsoft .. heck I dont even use yahoo mail ..

Impossible. I'm on 500MB data plan with Maxis and my Mozart has never exceeded that allocated amount. Heck, I even have Yahoo account set up on my phone and it's still within control. As for Mozart's screen, yes I agree with you. It appears to be a firmware issue.

My bad is that I am using the 100MB package .. For 500MB , what if using more ? still charge per kb or it just slows u down ?
I'm thinking of switching to Celcom .. Wp7 relying so much on data ..

About the screen , will try to send to the SIS Service center .. hopefully they can calibrate the screen instead of giving new phone ..
*
Hmm, I've never exceeded 500MB, so I don't really know what would happen if it exceeds.

As for sending to SIS, it might help but I wouldn't count on it. The phone itself is the problem. This is most likely due to poor firmware programming like many others have pointed out. Hopefully when Mango comes out, they update the firmware as well.

And yes, for your current WP7 (without Mango), it relies heavily on data plan because when your phone is in sleep mode, your wireless card will be disabled automatically to "conserve" battery. Your 3G network will be used instead. This will change when Mango comes, bringing continuous wireless (changed through settings).

Hmm I am curious to know if whatsapp will be released as a free app or paid app? Unlike iOS which you can JB, Android it's free, OVI need to pay. Lol
*
You need to pay for the Android version as well. You will only get off free for the first year. If it's a good app, I don't mind paying, neither should anyone smile.gif

Bought my Mozart from HTC Gardens. Wanted to wait for Nokia initially, but that guy told me promotion, RM999 when you trade in any old phone while I was playing with Mozart, immediately I said, here's RM100, reserve for me, tomorrow I'll be back with old phones.

Truth be told though, not many are interested in WP7 and I wonder why.

I gave my Desire to my gf and after playing around with my phone, she's quite interested in WP7 instead.

I also experienced the same situation.
It was happened when i eyeing for wp device at Terminal 1, Seremban.
It was so hard to get Wp here. Most of them don't know bout the existing of wp.
Finally, i've found 1 shop which sell the mozart for RM15++.
He asked me " why you want wp? sekarang trend android maaa..."
and i said "i've tried ios, android n now i want to try something new. ios and android sudah common la.".
then, he start to cerita about "android" bla bla bla...
LASTLY, "oklah.. i'm not interested,,,

I just wondering, y the shop refuse to sell the wp device?

Bought Mozart from directd RM800. smile.gif

thanks.
*
Same. The sales people at HTC Gardens know NOTHING about Mozart apart from the specs. They aren't even trained on how to operate the device except for one guy which I presume was the supervisor on duty.

Can't wait. Few more days to Mango official release.

By the way, it's not about MSFT banning marketplace, Malaysia just isn't their primary market yet. Our numbers are far too little for them to blow money on. It's better for them to focus on more developed countries before they come to us.

It's actually the same for Google, if you can recall the earlier versions. It's not easy to provide region specific contents and pricing, Google and Apple did, it's only a matter of time before MSFT does the same.

Bear in mind, WP7 sounds like it's the 7th version but really, it's only the first of its kind and its predecessors are nothing like it.

So, just be patience. Evilpuppy, add me to Mozart list.
