Do take note you have to install the windows phone development tools 7.0 RTW. the one now microsoft posted on their web site is 7.1beta. 7.1beta will not work when u try to deploy xap to your phone.

if you can try to downgrade back to 7.0RTW. it will resolve ya not being able sideload to phone problem.

i have no problem surviving without whatapps for almost a year... my HD7 bought first day of maxis launch it. and its still kicking.

love the unlimited data for my phone where daily data consumpt nowadays reaching 200MB download.

you guys should really look into the integrated social network of the phone rather than only consider third party apps like whatapps.

for bluetooth file transfer isnt important because even my smartphone noob wifey figure our send to email is much more accessable than bluetooth.

browser are pactically the third party apps allow us go any website to get things done. we even complete ebay transaction using the phone browser and email. get online at odd hours to get airasia cheap air ticket. cmon.. nothing beat a powerful internet browser.

do utilize full function of these phone is my advise. at the end u might not even think of third party apps at all.

you have to understand that you are one the move. so u dont need any fancy things to complete what you wanna do. so staying minimum requirement and let you complete your task is the main priority for a phone.

but anyway... try do eye on windows 8 tablet. this might be the 1 for all ecosystem tablet/pc/phone OS you wanted.

cmon... normally they will push the update according to batch. so those who purchase earlier will normally get it faster.

anyway... the chances is high for mango. taiwan HTC just SMS all their NoDo phone buyer to make a backup of their NoDo phone at home then they can go to all 60 shop around taiwan for Mango Juices starting tomorrow.

also some NoDo Owner at HK claims that they are just got mango juice thru HTC shop late today.

Taiwan release because if their use using OTA update. it will cause language file problem. thats the reason why need to annouce early because they can only do it at shop not OTA.

even it roll out. its not for all... its by batch by batch. so if u get it now... u might get later update as for those priority to the old timer first.

u guys should try the Windows Developers Preview 8 tablet. the Metro UI of IE10 built are exactly like Windows Phone 7.

Do play around with the unit before you buy. i saw many bought it because of the price not because the phone suite them and at the end they hate it.

Do take note that new firmware code name "Mango" is not officially released yet for all HTC phone in the market now. those forumer who claims that they are having "Mango" most likely are some unofficial leak from certain web site and they risked their chance to flash "Mango" in their device.

Do take note also flashing to unofficial ROM might leak to "bricking" ya device and those are not cover under official warranty. Do understand what you might come to before you flash. Do full understand the whole process before you carry on with unofficial ROM flashing.

External cause like internet connection and any unexpected hardware or electricity failure will brick the device as well.

Currently there is no Mozart in the market reported come with "Mango".

i hereby do advise those who are having "Mango" on their device. Do not lurke newbie on Mango ROM. As you are clear there are casses some newbie bricked their device because not proper guide are given to them.

If newbie would like you help on "Mango". kindly PM them. but again its up to them have spare time to help you or not.

and lastly... whatsapp is not official yet. :-p

yeap... after hd2 and hd7 big screen. i seriously cant go back to smaller screen anymore. i cant use to mozart as my wife phone which have better screen quality than my hd7.

i cant go back to anything smaller than 4" now. :-p

for phone firmware update you dont need to sign in zune with windows ID. you are only require to sign-in zune with your windows live ID when you wanna purchase anything.

i have no no such experience as i went TTDI maxis center on the exact day it launch. got a chance to play with the HD7 mobile car stopped at Tropicana Mall and try out all their features first before i make up my mind.

the HTC car promoter was so not well train on their product until their supervisor from Singapore have to come and explain my doubt. along that 30min saw some ppl come play they wp7 for awhile and none of them looks interested except me.

then went all the way to TTDI Maxis center for the HD7. i was told i am the first customer at the branch going for that phone and they serv me like a king. they even sent a on duty supervisor to me.

lol....

revert back to NoDo and it seem like the NoDo update are now very hard to get detected. used the pull cable trick for 7392 and its still work. :-p

I found the folder keeping the smses. Just not sure how to transfer it out from phone and later back to phone. <3

Searching high and low at xda now.
