Went to Cycom Lowyat Plaza to view and test out the unit. Surprisingly this little box can play all the file types i bring over there (MKV, M2TS, ISO) without problem.
Very satisfied with the price/performance of R6B and bought it for family use. Will update here after watching more files |

QUOTE(leftist @ Jan 3 2011, 07:37 PM) got it yesterday at Aoneplus digital mall for rm229...satisfied with it...all working flawlessly...for subtitle have to renamed it same as movie title or else it wont appear...u can modified the size, position of the subtitle also where i think its useful...right now i only tried 3gb 1080p Brrip movie file...will try the bigger 10GB+ 1080p per movie in future...the only let down is the remote..button too small!...overall 4 out of 5 star for this silver baby! Haha...I also bought at the same price with you, but from Cycom Lowyat. No problem for playing larger full HD files for me.This baby have no issue in playing MKVs with compressed header, which some of my friends facing the problem with no picture but have sound issue with these files. Satisfied user here |

Flashing the firmware is quite simple. I just download the firmware and store into USB flash drive root directory. Plug the flash drive into r6b USB port and power on the unit and TV will show firmware update in process.
Just wait until it finish the process and firmware upgrade is done. Did this for my unit and a friend's unit, no problem at all. |
