i noticed realtek 1055 no "seamless playback" function

what is that???

i mean when u play files with many part.like TS files split with 2 part or more

Friend told me price is the same at the fair (RM229) and no extra freebies.

i get Rm210 at lowyat.
But there is weird thing.

First unit i plug to toshiba through hdmi. it almost every time hang at startup loading. The i go exchange. The customer service try working fine at the shop.

2nd unit. Sometime hang at startupup loading. Turn off and start again, then it work.

Any idea on this issue?

Coming from my wdtv and wdtv live experience, my 2 cents :-

1) the movies menu is not so useful to me, as it scans and sorts the movies according to name. But can do other features eg. search and other sorting. I prefer accessing from folder paths, so I use the file manager menu function more.

2) Plays all files that wdtv can't eg. wmv, mov, compressed mkv, mts, rmvb .... excellent !!

3) Outputs DTS HD flawlessly. Tested AVATAR. I chose the audio settings as RAW. The other options PCM and PCM multichannel doesn't do anything for my amp ... not sure what they are for ... must check on this. Don't have other HD audio formats to test, so no feedback there.

4) BD menu not supported (i think) ... maybe I don't know how to check this

5) Remote control not quite responsive. Have to press more than once, most of the time, to get feedback



Really worth the value. Hope got more upgrades from firmwares.

you can do some movie sorting at the movie section.

after you enter the movie menu, press on the remote control the button ' Menu'. It will pop up a screen. there you select 'List' and also select' Go to Folder'. Voila, all back to folder.

I just got the R6B.

I'm trying to split the audio to my Home Theater system (using composite output) while video is through HDMI to my LCD TV. I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Currently the sound and video is coming out of my TV only.

I haven't try that yet, but you can try changing audio to PCM or PCM multichannel

Did you plug in the Red and White cable correctly into your home theatre into 'AV in'? You also need to select the correct channel at your Home Theatre to output the sound. Should be working if these 2 steps are implemented correctly.
